Doris Anahí Muñoz is a Mexican-American musician and activist who splits her time between Los Angeles and Mexico City. She released her critically acclaimed debut EP “Aprendiendo por las Malas” in 2022, followed by "Por Las Buenas" in 2024 and her latest single titled, "Mi Niña" is a letter to her younger self detailing her life in a mixed-status family. 
As the founder of Casa Mija and Solidarity for Sanctuary, much of her advocacy is focused on advocating for immigrants and uplifting Latine voices in the music industry. Doris also produced Selena for Sanctuary, a concert series honoring Selena Quintanilla which raised funds for undocumented immigrants and featured artists such as Kali Uchis, Cuco and Omar Apollo. In 2023, she produced and performed "Canciones de mi Madre", a show reviving Linda Ronstadt’s historic 1987 “Canciones de Mi Padre” mariachi album at The Ford in partnership with the LA Philharmonic. 
Most recently, she performed with Grammy Award winning artist Ella Bric at Studio 9 in partnership with Artists at Work. Doris’ work has been featured in the New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Vogue, Billboard, NPR, Rolling Stone, and many more.
